Ever heard about the famous "Lasem Red"? well , this is it, my souvenir of Yogyakarta Holiday. Of course it is not Batik Madura, but i think it is important to mentioned it since Merah Lasem had (and still is) very important part of shaping the art of Batik Pasisir we know today (remember "Batik Tiga Negeri" ? The finest one cannot afford to miss the processing stage of Lasem to acquire the famous red in its composition).
